We might chase fish across the globe, but we call Montana home. We live and work among the best fly fishing waters in the world, and our home waters of Montana continue to be our favorites. From the Madison to the Missouri and all the small waters in between, Montana offers a variety of outstanding fly fishing situations that can't be matched.
Oarsmen Expeditions is based in West Yellowstone, Montana. The infamous Madison River is our home water, and we've spent years drifting its riffles, and wading its productive banks. We know the Madison like the back of our weathered hands.
As good as the Madison is, though, waters like the Yellowstone, Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and many more you'll never hear us talk about each have their own legendary fishing.
We don't consider our fishing options to be centered around one fishery or one town. We look at the entire state of Montana as one fishery - the best in the world.
